Prof. Rafael Kuperstein is a highly experienced cardiologist with over 25 years in the field, recognized as one of Israel's leading cardiologists. His exceptional skills have earned him a place among the best doctors in his field for nine consecutive years, as recognized by the prestigious Forbes magazine.

 

Currently, Prof. Kuperstein is the director of the Heart Imaging Institute at Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital. He also manages the Valve Clinic and a specialized clinic for pregnant women with heart conditions.  In addition to his work at the hospital, he provides care to private patients at his clinic in Ramat Hahayal, Tel Aviv.

 

Prof. Kuperstein’s areas of expertise include echocardiography, valvular heart disease, the treatment of pregnant women with heart conditions, pre-surgical heart evaluations, and more. His broad knowledge is also demonstrated through his membership in prestigious professional associations, such as the Israeli Cardiac Association and the European Society of Cardiology. Prof. Kuperstein began his distinguished medical career in 1983, gaining valuable clinical experience in Israel, Brazil, and Canada. He is known for his excellent communication skills, speaking Hebrew, English, Portuguese, and Spanish to connect with his diverse patient base.
